However, the state of the room left much to be desired, as it felt dated and in need of renovations. I had a great time staying at The Newbury Boston, with its beautiful, clean spaces and friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. The location is a major bonus, right by the Boston Public Garden. However, the ongoing renovations do mean that some usual amenities aren't available yet, which is something to keep in mind before booking.
